President Jacob Zuma has sent his condolences to the Government and people of Zambia following a deadly road accident that claimed more than 50 lives.
A bus and a truck collided on the Great North Road in the Chibombo area of Central Zambia on Thursday.
Officials said serious speeding was involved.
The bus, carrying 73 passengers hurtled into the oncoming truck in one of Zambia's worst-ever traffic accidents.
Fifty-one people on the bus died, while the truck driver and his assistant were also killed.
