Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe has scoffed at fears about his health, saying he is "fit as a fiddle".
Mugabe turns 88 today.
Mugabe, who is Africa's oldest ruler, poked fun at media reports about his health in an interview on state radio in Harare.
He said he had died many times, according to reports, adding that he had beaten Christ, who died and was resurrected only once.
Mugabe, who has ruled Zimbabwe since independence in 1980, has repeatedly shot down rumours he is sick.
