Major parties in final election push

South Africa's three dominant political parties will hold their respective rallies this weekend in a final push ahead of next week's general elections.

The Democratic Alliance, Economic Freedom Fighters and the African National Congress will all hold their respective rallies in Johannesburg this weekend in an attempt to lure the 26.3 million registered voters to their side.

Both the EFF and the ANC will hold their rallies on Sunday.

The Ellis Park Stadium is the venue for the ANC's 'Siyanqoba rally while the Orlando Stadium will host the EFF's Tshela Thupa rally.

Meanwhile, the DA will hold its Phetogo rally at the Dobsineville Stadium in Soweto on Saturday.

South Africa's democratic elections take place on Wednesday, the 8th of May.
