Kate Moss takes the stand in DeppvsHeard trial

International supermodel Kate Moss testified in the Johnny Depp defamation trial that entered its 22nd day today.

Depp is suing his ex-wife Amber Heard for 50 million dollars while she is countersuing him for 100 million dollars.

During Amber Heard's testimony earlier this month she admitted to hitting Depp but said it was to protect her sister who was standing with her back to a flight of stairs.

She mentioned a rumour about Depp pushing one of his former girlfriends, Kate Moss down a flight of stairs and used it as her reasoning for striking her then-husband.

The fact that Heard mentioned Moss' name opened the door for Depp's legal team to call her in their rebuttal that is currently underway at the circuit court at Fairfax Virginia.

Moss dated Depp for four years in the 90s and testified from England to set the record straight about what had happened during a vacation in Jamaica

She told the court that there was a rainstorm and she slipped down the stairs screaming because she did not know what happened to her and she was in pain.

Moss said Depp rushed to her aid and carried her to her room and got her medical attention.

When asked if Depp had ever pushed, kicked or punched her she answered no.

The mammoth trial is slowly coming to an end with closing arguments expected on Friday.

Depp is suing his ex-wife for an article she wrote for the Washington Post referring to herself as a survivor of domestic violence.

Even though Heard never mentioned Depp's name he said it was obvious that she was referring to him accusing her of destroying his career.

Heard is countersuing Depp for calling her a liar.
