(This story has since been updated to include multiple resignations)

Fifteen people have resigned from the British Government under Prime Minister Boris Johnson including several ministers and Members of Parliament.

On Wednesday two ministers resigned following Tuesday's shock resignation by the UK's Finance Minister Rishi Sunak and the Secretary of Health and Social Care Sajid Javid.

"It has been an enormous privilege to serve in this role, but I regret that I can no longer continue in good conscience," said Javid

On Wednesday morning Will Quince, the Minister for Children and Families, announced on Twitter that he too was resigning from Johnson's government.

His announcement was followed by the resignation of the Minister of Schools, Robin Walker.

They will now sit on the Conservative backbenches at the weekly session of Prime Minister's Questions in the House of Commons on Wednesday where he is expected to be grilled for hours from the chairs of Commons most powerful committees.

Johnson has been embroiled in various scandals, most notably "Partygate" where he was fined for breaking his own coronavirus lockdown restrictions by having parties at Nr. 10

Conservative MP Neil Parish resigned in April after he was caught watching pornography on his phone in the House of Commons, however, the scandal involving Chris Pincher seemed to have been the last straw.

Pincher has been accused of sexual misconduct and Johnson was reportedly aware of the allegations when he appointed him as the Chief Whip.
