Facebook has announced that the company will now be known as META.
CEO Mark Zuckerberg says the way we connect with each other is evolving and therefore they too have shifted their focus on developing what is called a metaverse.
Metaverse, which is a buzzword in Silicon Valley at the moment is often an abstract concept for the man on the street,
Zuckerberg says the metaverse will basically include the development of virtual and augmented reality and smart glasses.
He summarized it as creating a virtual space where you can create and explore with other people who are not in the same physical space as you.
