Britain's High Court has temporarily halted the extradition of businessman Shrien Dewani to South Africa, where he is wanted in connection with the murder of his wife Anni.
The ruling was made on mental health grounds, after Dewani's lawyers said the 31-year-old was suffering from severe post-traumatic stress disorder and depression, and his life could be at risk if he were extradited.
Dewani is scheduled to stand trial for the murder of his wife, who was shot dead in a Cape Town township in December 2010.
Two other suspects will go on trial with him while a third, Cape Town taxi driver Zola Ntongo has been jailed for 18 years in term of a plea agreement.
