The tragic story of Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina Brown is to air on Lifetime early next year. The network has released the first trailer for the documentary titled Whitney Houston & Bobbi Kristina: Didn’t We Almost Have It All.
It focuses on the often difficult relationship between Houston and her daughter and over the course of two hours takes an in-depth look at their lives through intimate conversations with friends and family. Whitney and Bobbi Kristina, both struggled with drug and alcohol addictions that affected every part of their lives.
They both died untimely deaths: On February 11, 2012, Houston was found dead at the Beverly Hills Hilton, the coroner’s report showed that she had accidentally drowned in the bathtub, with heart disease and cocaine use as contributing factors.
In January 2015, Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub in her home. After being in a coma for nearly six months, Brown died from lobar pneumonia on July 26, 2015.

Whitney Houston & Bobbi Kristina: Didn’t We Almost Have It All will premiere on Lifetime Saturday, Feb. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The documentary will be followed by an encore presentation of Lifetime's Whitney, which debuted in 2015.
