The Masked Singer South Africa’s imposing Warrior was unveiled on Saturday night’s show as none other than local politician Mmusi Maimane – and no one saw it coming!
The Build One South Africa party leader was the sixth South African celebrity to be ousted from the mystery singing contest.
Somizi Mhlongo, Skhumba Hlophe, Sithelo Shozi, and J'Something, the sleuths for this season of the hit show based on the international viral phenomenon, had a hard time trying to decode the clues given by the 'mystery singer.' It was only J'Something who eventually hit the nail on the head.
Mmusi told the audience and 'detectives' that he decided to be on the show because his children love the international version saying: “Kgosi, Kgalaletso, and Kutlwano will think I’m a cool guy.”
Well, if your day job doesn't work out Mmusi, perhaps there's a career on the stage for you.
Take a look at the great reveal right here.
