The 39-year-old Hilton heiress, media personality, businesswoman and socialite reveals who she really is in this tell-all documentary.
Directed by Alexandra Dean, it's billed as the untold story of Paris Hilton and since going live on Youtube Hilton has told various media sources that she feels ‘free’ now that she has shared her ‘truth’.
Part of that truth is one of the most shattering revelations in the documentary. She shares with viewers her experience at a private school in Utah to which she was sent by her parents in an attempt to 'straighten her out'. A rebellious teenager, her exasperated parents had hoped that Provo Canyon would tame their 17-year-old with a proclivity for the New York City night club scene.
Hilton, however, reveals that it was to be the setting for abuse of such a nature that it traumatized her for many years, causing her to suffer dreadful nightmares and insomnia. She recalls her 11 months at Provo as being some of the worst of her life.
YouTube took to their official social media platform to promote the documentary saying. " We think we know her, but there's so much more to @ParisHilton than we dared to even dream".
This is Paris is available to watch on Paris Hilton’s YouTube channel.
