WATCH : News crew saves terrified dog from tornado

ABC News has rescued a terrified dog trapped underneath a house in Laguna Heights, Texas after a massive tornado ripped through the small town over the weekend. The heartwarming clip shows the news team luring the canine to safety with a Slim Jim (a meat stick snack) after its owner’s home collapsed from the force of the 105mph winds.

While setting up their equipment sound technician Jim Gower heard the dog's cries and called for animal rescue to assist but before they got there he grabbed a nearby shovel and dug a hole to rescue the frightened animal.
