On Friday 14th February news broke of the suicide of Caroline Flack at the age of 40, host of one of the most popular reality TV shows across the globe. Caroline had been fighting a very public prosecution for assault after police were called to her home in December last year where it was reported she had assaulted her boyfriend, tennis player Lewis Burton.
The outcry against the paparazzi following her death has been unprecedented, but the voice of reason must ask, can the media be made solely responsible for her death by suicide?
