The first public screening of Martin Scorsese's movie Silence took place on Sunday night in L.A. The movie stars Andrew Garfield as a Jesuit priest in 17^th century Japan. The crowd gave the movie a standing ovation, many feel that this historical drama will be a major awards contender.
