The movie tells the story of Italian socialite Patrizia Reggiani who was convicted of hiring a hitman to assassinate her ex-husband and high couture icon Maurizio Gucci in 1995.
The 2021 American biographical crime drama is directed by Ridley Scott and is based on the 2001 book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Sara Gay Forden. Gaga told Sky News that it was one of her most challenging roles and she was "broken at the end."
In addition to Lady Gaga, the film has a stellar cast in the form of Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, Salma Hayek, and Al Pacino.
