WATCH: Joaquin Phoenix bags another award!

Forty-five-year-old Joaquin Phoenix is riding the crest of an “ award season wave”. Congrats are in order for the actor who last night walked away with the Critics Choice Award for best actor for his role as Arthur Fleck in Joker.

This is his second award of the year for the "thespian come activist" after having been awarded the Golden Globe for best actor in the same motion picture at the beginning of the year.

His thank you to his mom, Heart Phonenix, in his acceptance speech has everyone talking.
