Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are joined by Steve Carell as the high profile stars of a new series called The Morning Show. This is one of the first major projects to become available on the newly launched streaming service AppleTV+.
The series follows morning newscaster Alex Levy (Aniston) as she loses her longtime co-anchor Mitch Kessler (Carrell) after #MeToo allegations surfaced against him. This is when an ambitious reported named Bradley Jackson, played by Reese Witherspoon, enters the fray.
The service launched on Friday, 1 November at a cost of R84.99 a month. Apple TV+ is now in competition with services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and MultiChoice's Showmax.
