After years of closely guarding her privacy, 55-year-old Jackson is laying bare her soul in a Sky documentary set to air at the end of the month.

In this new teaser, the superstar is joined by family and celebrity friends including Whoopi Goldberg, Mariah Carey, and Samuel L Jackson. The no-holds documentary is said to cover the loss of Michael, the ‘nipplegate scandal’, motherhood, and her career.

When asked why she had decided to make the documentary Jackson said: "It's just something that needs to be done."
