Numerous mourners have reportedly been injured at an unofficial memorial for 33-year-old rapper Nipsey Hussle, who was fatally shot on Sunday outside his shop, The Marathon Clothing Store.
Although there were initial reports of shots being fired, the Los Angeles Police Department has released a statement via their Twitter account to say that these reports are not accurate.
When news broke of the Grammy-nominated rapper’s death, there was an outpouring of shock and grief from celebrities the world over who paid tribute to Hussle’s immense talent and involvement in community work.
LA PD are still baffled as to the motive for the shooting.
