The thirty-nine-year-old pop star is celebrating her engagement to 27-year-old Iranian actor and fitness guru Sam Asghari, they have been together for over four years.
Spears was quick to share the good news on her Instagram feed, posting a video of herself wearing a massive diamond ring with a caption that read:: "I can't f****** believe it". In the video, Asghari asks if she likes the ring and she replies: "Yes!".

The loved-up pair met on the set of a music video in 2016, Spears has always been extremely vocal about the support Asghari has given her during some of her toughest times.
According to People, Asghari's manager Brandon Cohen has confirmed the engagement saying: "The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication, and love expressed to them."
The engagement follows the good news that Spears's father, Jamie Spears, has asked a court in Los Angels to consider terminating the conservatorship which has seen him control her personal and financial affairs for over a decade.
