A judge has ruled, 13 years down the line, that Jamie Spears be suspended as conservator of his daughter Britney Spears' R907 million estate.
Los Angeles Judge Brenda Penny said that the move is in the star's "best interests" and that the legal agreement controlling her finances "reflects a toxic environment".
The decision is a huge victory for the star who spoke out against her father earlier this year claiming she had been medicated against her will and denied the right to have children.
Following the triumphant hearing, Spears did not make any direct reference to the judge's decision but told her 34.3 million Instagram followers that she was "on cloud 9".
It’s a somewhat cryptic message that shows footage of what appears to be her flying a plane for the first time.
