Ukrainian folk rap group Kalush, who are representing their country in this year's Eurovision Song Contest, says their song has become an "anthem for Ukraine", as day 6 dawns on the invasion of their country by Russia.
The band's lead singer Oleh Psiuk told Sky News: "This song which we have created [Stefania], it's the anthem for Ukraine and everybody is singing it. Originally, the song was dedicated to my mother, and now it's the song for all mothers."
The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) confirmed last week that Russia will not be participating in this year’s competition due to "the unprecedented crisis in Ukraine".
The Eurovision Song Contest 2022 will be held in Turin, Italy in May 2022.
