In a cease-and-desist letter sent yesterday to Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg by Elon Musk’s lawyer Alex Spiro, Twitter is threatening to sue over "systematic, willful and unlawful misappropriation" of Twitter's trade secrets and IP, as well as scraping of Twitter's data."
Mark Zuckerberg’s new app Threads, set to rival Twitter, went live Wednesday night and according to its Meta boss, as of a couple of hours ago, has reached over 55 million users. Zuckerberg has boldly stated said that he is aiming for 1 billion users, if reached, he will have far outstripped Twitter’s 450 million.
The below is a leak of the letter sent by Spiro to Meta, as reported by @semafor.
