TV personality Leandie du Randt saved from mugging by car guards

Afrikaans celebrity and TV presenter of the weight-loss reality show Slank, was saved from an attempted mugging on Tuesday by two car guards.

The warning in her Instagram post is clear, we need to be extra vigilant. She shared in her post that muggers wanted to grab her cellphone from her as she left a shopping centre and stopped to take a selfie.  She goes on to say that two car guards came to her rescue and that her self defence training for the series Jagveld definitely helped her resist her attackers.
