Trevor Noah made his first Oscar appearance on Sunday night to present one of the Best Picture nominees, Black Panther, using his time to have a little fun with the audience back home.
During his time on stage he joked about fans often thinking that Wakanda is a real place, but the 'inside joke'came in the form of Trevor speaking some Xhosa saying,"'Abelungu abazi ubu ndiyaxoka'- which means, 'In times like these, we are stronger when we fight together than when we try to fight apart,'".
Twitter went crazy as those ‘in on the joke’ knew that he was actually saying, “White people don't know I'm lying."
