76-year-old Thomas Markle Snr has begun to promote a documentary, currently in the making, about his estranged relationship with his famous daughter Meghan Markle.
He has told the media that the film will feature previously unseen home video footage of his daughter and will explore his desperate quest to find out "what happened to my baby girl" and why it all went so wrong.
The documentary will cover his life as a child, how he made it to Hollywood to become a Daytime Emmy Award-winning lighting director, and his life with Meghan, from when she was a child to the beginning of her acting career.
Markle hopes to have the film completed by the end of 2021.
According to the Mirror this comes as Meghan sues Associated Newspapers, the publisher of the Mail on Sunday and MailOnline, over the publication of a letter the Duchess wrote to her estranged father in August 2018, five months after he missed her wedding to Prince Harry.
Thomas Markle could be called to testify if the case proceeds to trial.
Below is the trailer to a film he featured in that aired last year, he says this new documentary will offer a more "complete" picture of the ongoing saga.
