In the future Netflix viewers will not be able to binge watch or re-watch all nine seasons of the popular sitcom The Office. NBC Universal, which owns the rights to The Office, have released a statement saying that they will not be renewing their deal with Netflix.
As streaming becomes one of the most popular forms of entertainment, so networks, in order to not be left behind are getting in on the streaming action as TV consumers become willing to sacrifice watching a show when it airs for the convenience of next-day viewing or binge watching.
The good news is, it’s not going to happen anytime soon!
