Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, and soon to be royal mum, is about to hit the big screen circuit in America in a racy movie wherein she plays a bed-hopping, drug-snorting party-girl.
While she may have given up her career as an actress to marry into the royal family, the past cannot be erased and in this case, it comes in the form of a 2011 TV show — The Boys & Girls Guide to Getting Down — which has been picked up for film distribution in the US.
Originally meant to be a TV series, it never made the cut, footage has now been salvaged and made into a full-length movie about 20 something singles clubbing and partying over the course of one evening in Los Angeles.
What will the palace say? Now, Meghan does not feature in this trailer despite being billed as playing the leading role of Dana, but one wonders if the distributors will put together a new trailer to capitalise on the name, Meghan Markle.
