The break-up of Pete and Ariana

Break-ups are never easy and for Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande being scrutinized by fans of the entertainment industry, their break-up must be hell.

Ariana recently broke her silence about her split with Pete by posting a message on her IG account that had since been deleted, "Time to say bye bye to the internet for just a lil bit. it's hard not to bump news n stuff that i'm not tryna to see rn. It's very sad and we're all tryin very hard to keep goin. love u. and thank u for bein here always."

But the pop-star has bounced back and continues to shares posts with fans in spite of the rough time. In the last two months, she has lost a dear friend Mac Miller to a reported drug overdose. The two had a very public relationship, but in the end, it was his addiction to drugs that ended their relationship. It was also the reason for his passing in September of this year.

Recently Ariana enjoyed summer love with Pete Davidson which also ended. The reason for the break-up was never shared but Pete also broke his silence about the break-up in a manner he knows best.

Pete joked about it while co-hosting the Judd and Pete for America show.

"Well, as you could tell, I don't want to be here. There's a lot going on," Davidson told the crowd. "Does anybody have any open rooms? Looking for a roommate?"

"So, obviously you know I, we [Ariana and I] broke up or whatever but when me and her first got engaged we got tattoos," he later continued. "And it was like in a magazine like, 'Was Pete Davidson stupid?' And 93% of it said yes," Davidson told the audience. "So my boy, he was like, 'Don't listen to that s--t man. They're literally f--king haters.' And I'm like, yeah, f--k that. I'm not stupid. And the other day we were in my kitchen and he was like, 'Yo bro. Turns out you were stupid.'"

He did follow up the jokes by telling everyone that he is okay. He receives great support from his family and friends who keep him laughing.
