Co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis have made a brief joint statement about the assault allegations by two women, breaking their silence Monday on social media.
Their tweet read: "We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth. We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences.
"We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it."

The claims have led to Noth being axed by Universal Television and CBS in the popular The Equalizer series.
According to various sources, Noth's accusers said they spoke out after watching the 67-year-old reprise his role in the Sex And The City spin-off, And Just Like That.
In an article by The Hollywood Reporter it was stated that this revival acted as a 'trigger' for the two women, Zoe, now 40, and Lily, now 31, who both allege they were sexually assaulted by Noth. They did not know each other and approached the Hollywood Reporter separately to make their claims.
Noth has denied the allegations and at this time there is no criminal investigation underway and no report has been made.
