It’s official Sex and the City fans – it has been confirmed that the popular series will be coming back to HBO Max – BUT – there will be some changes.
It was made official Sunday by Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis that the series will be back but it will feature a new storyline and carry a new name: And Just Like That. One of the big changes will be no
Kim Cattrall, many fans have already expressed their huge disappointment on social media about her decision not to reprise her role as Samantha.
Sarah took to Instagram teasing, "I couldn't help but wonder... where are they now," while Cynthia wrote, "You, me, New York...anything is possible." Kristin posted, "Anything is possible.... Meet you there!"
According to a press release, HBO Max said of the reboot: "The series will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s," a description read. "The ten-episode, half-hour series is scheduled to begin production in New York late spring."
There is no release date as yet but the teaser trailer has dropped.
