Sarah Ferguson’s official spokesperson has revealed to the media that the Duchess of York is recovering after having an operation for breast cancer.
The 63-year-old mother, author, television personality, and member of the British royal family, is the former wife of Prince Andrew.
According to the statement, her breast cancer diagnosis came after a routine mammogram screening after which she was advised to undergo surgery.
The spokesperson has said that the surgery was successful and the prognosis is good.
The Duchess recently launched a podcast series called Tea Talks with the Duchess & Sarah.
