South African actress Nomzama Mbatha has been added to the impressive cast list of the sequel to Coming 2 America.
The Paramount movie features Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall reprising their roles of Prince Akeem and his BFF Semmi from the 1988 comedy classic. Also in the mix are James Earl Jones as King Jaffe Joffer, Shari Headley as Lisa McDowell, John Amos as Cleo McDowell, Paul Bates as Oha, Louie Anderson as Maurice and Vanessa Bell Calloway – as Imani Izzi.
Nomzama is well known in South Africa for her roles in the soapie Isibaya and the series Umlilo. She also earned an Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress nomination for her role in the romantic comedy Tell Me Sweet Something opposite Maps Maponyane.
Coming 2 America has a release date of December 2020.
