75-year-old Mick Jagger has been hospitalised on his doctor's orders causing the cancellation of the Rolling Stones Tour to the United States and Canada.
Jagger posted on his Twitter account on Sunday that he was devastated to have to let his fans down but that his doctor had ordered him to reschedule.
I’m so sorry to all our fans in America & Canada with tickets. I really hate letting you down like this.

I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone.
A statement from the band said he required "medical treatment" but did not provide any further details about Jagger’s health. Details are still sketchy as to what the issue is and Jagger himself did not give anything away in his twitter post either. However, the statement did say that he was expected to make a full recovery and would be back on stage as soon as possible.
The energetic and seemingly unstoppable Jagger has eight children, five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. The band, who formed in 1962, were due to play 17 shows in the US and Canada between April and June.
