While Nigella Lawson is calling for body acceptance, fellow British celebrity, Robbie Williams, is using his personal weight loss journey to encourage others to lose those extra pounds and make healthier food choices.
It has just been announced that Robbie Williams is now a global brand ambassador for WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers, they rebranded in September dropping the weight reference and now aim to focus on health and wellness. He will be sharing his ‘wellness journey’ on social media using the hashtag #MyWhy. According to his wife, Ayda Field, being dubbed "the fat dancer from Take That" when he was just 15 was something that had stayed with him throughout his life.
Robbie has often spoken about his battle with his weight and even penned a song for his 2013 album called No One Likes a Fat Pop Star. Watch the video of the new journey he is about to embark on.
Next year I want to get fit and healthy for my family, friends & fans & WW will be my partner on this wellness journey. As a #WWambassador, I’m joining millions around the world building healthy habits for real life. Why are YOU are getting healthy? #MyWhy #ForEveryBody @ww_uk pic.twitter.com/7Kt3loqifa
