Ric Ocasek found dead at 75

The lead singer of The Cars, Ric Ocasek was found dead in a townhouse in New York City on Sunday.

Police responded to a call on Sunday afternoon at 4pm. The caller stated that there is an unconscious male at a townhouse on East 19th Street. This information was made public by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Public Information who shared this with CNN.

Ric Ocasek was pronounced dead on the scene by police.

No foul play was reported.

The Cars were hugely popular in the 70s and the 80s.
