The ‘Fast and the Furious’ franchise excited teens and adults since 2001.
Now it is reported that the franchise will share two more instalments before calling it quits.
At a press conference for the Fast and the Furious 9, Vin Diesel who plays the character ‘Domonic Toretto', said that “Every story deserves its own ending”.
“I know people are going to feel like it doesn't have to end, but I think all good things should. There are reasons for a finale. I think this franchise deserves it.”
“It was born from the pavement, from the concrete. The world just championed this underdog to a place where it has already surpassed all of these other franchises. It has a soul and that soul has to be put to rest.”
Justin Lin who directed five of the films in the franchise discussed creating a finale with Vin Diesel while filming the Fast and the Furious 9.
The 10th and 11th instalment will be the final two to conclude the storyline first shared in 9.
