Ned Beatty was a character actor of incredible talent, rising to fame for his role in Deliverance in 1972, he appeared in dozens of films including Superman and Superman 2, Network, All The President's Men, Charlie Wilson's War, and Toy Story Three.
His manager, Deborah Miller, told the media that he died of natural causes at his home in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, surrounded by his friends and loved ones.
Beatty was Oscar-nominated in 1977 for playing a corporate CEO in Network, a role he filmed in a single day.
