The South African government has announced that President Cyril Ramaphosa will attend Queen Elizabeth's funeral on Monday, 19 September.
A statement released this week said, “ President Cyril Ramaphosa will today embark on working visits to the USA and the UK to, respectively build relations with South Africa’s third largest trade partner, and to attend the State Funeral Service of Her Majesty Queen II".

Meanwhile, in an unprecedented outpouring of grief, respect, and love, the British public, as well as visitors from near and far, are waiting in a queue stretching some three miles long to see the late Monarch's coffin lying-in-state in Westminster Hall until Monday's state funeral.
