The UK government has now published a live queue tracker for people to follow on YouTube. According to the tracker, the queue is currently about five miles long, with estimated waiting times of at least 11 hours.

The state funeral at Westminster Abbey starts at 11:00 BST and will be attended by  US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, and South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa.

According to the BBC Queen Elizabeth II made many personal additions to plans for her funeral day.
