Get out your best china South Africa, the Sussexes are coming!
On Sunday, the royal couple posted their usual monthly social awareness post but this time it was all about the build-up to their tour of the African continent and in particular South Africa.
In his post Prince Harry said: "In just a few weeks our family will be taking its first official tour to Africa, a region of the world that over the past two decades has been a second home to me. Our team has helped create a meaningful programme that we're so excited to share with you. On a personal note, I can't wait to introduce my wife and son to South Africa! We'll see all of you very soon."
While Prince Harry has always professed to have a love of Africa and is an avid supporter of anti-elephant and anti-rhino poaching campaigns, the royal family is often criticized for their love of certain blood sports. It was just five years ago that they removed all their hunting trophies of exotic animals on display at the Queen's Sandringham residence.
With the Duchess of Sussex being such an animal lover, perhaps, in time, she will be able to help the royals see that shooting innocent animals for pleasure does their image no good.
In the meantime South Africa, let's get that red carpet ready!
