This open-to-the-public call invites you to take inspiration from ‘AbstRacT – the hidden synchrony’, from the collections of the Huberte Goote Art Foundation and Rupert Art Foundation and create responsive works to be submitted for a group exhibition at the Jan Rupert Art Centre, Graaff-Reinet.
The call is open to anyone who would like to create a responsive work using any medium and style of their choice.
Your work must be submitted electronically by mailing the submission form, synopsis and high-resolution image or video to opencall@rupertmuseum.org of the completed work before or on the closing date of Friday, 3 January 2025. The works will be considered for possible inclusion in a selling group exhibition to be showcased from February to September 2025.

It is free to enter and, should a work be chosen and sold in a group exhibition, all earnings will go to the artist.
