British actor Idris Elba has been crowned 2018′s Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine.
The announcement was made on Monday on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon.
Elba is the 33rd celebrity to receive the People magazine honour, following the likes of David Beckham, Chris Hemsworth, Mel Gibson, Harry Hamlin, and Brad Pitt.
In response, the 46-year-old tweeted he was honoured and thankful. He continued to ask his fans to go vote in the US midterm elections.
