Much of the 2022 Oscars have been overshadowed by Will Smith’s assault on comedian Chris Rock, one such memorable moment being the touching tribute by Jamie Lee Curtis to the late Betty White, homeless pooch in arms.
The 63-year-old star called her a legend telling the audience, “ The greatest gift you could give Betty White is to open your heart and your home and adopt a rescue dog, just like Mac ‘n Cheese, from Paw Works”.
Mac ‘n Cheese did not have to wait long - said pooch has since been adopted by none other than John Travolta and his family!

Betty was a pioneer of early television with a career spanning seven decades, she was also a passionate animal lover.
