Olivia Newton-John finds herself at the start of the new year in the unfortunate position of having to negate exaggerated rumours of her imminent demise.
She did so by releasing a video on Twitter to assure her fans that she is not "holding on to see her daughter get married” as had been reported in the media and that she is indeed fine. There have even been rumours of her having passed on.
Olivia, who is now 70, was first diagnosed with breast cancer just over 26 years ago, she successfully beat it but it returned in 2013 in her shoulder.
In 2017 she was quite open about her third battle with the disease, including her use of cannabis oil which her husband, John Easterling, grows at their ranch in California for her treatment.
