South Africa has a new band that promises to deliver music that is different and experimental.
So who are they?
Oh Roxy is made up by the duo, 21 year old Roxy McVean, the vocalist and Kamil Govender, the producer. Together they make up the alternative rock band from Cape Town.
Roxy McVean majored in vocals at the Campus of Performing Arts (COPA) in Cape Town before auditioning for Idols SA Season 10, making it all the way to the Top 9.
According to mixedapples.co.za the alternative rock band signed a global artist and publishing deal with with internationally renowned SA independent record company David Gresham Records in February 2016.
Their debut single THIS IS ME was release on Friday 11 March 2016.

'This is Me' is one of the songs that promises to be different, since it is written in a minor key which already makes it different to everyday pop music. Oh Roxy will release an EP at the end of April and are currently almost done with a track called 'Hella' that Roxy describs as "a really rad song".
