Nick Gordon has been by a judge to pay $36 million to Bobbi Kristina's family, two months after it was found that he was legally responsible for her death.
The daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston was found faced down and unconcious in a bathtub in the home she shared with Nick.
She was in a coma for months and was pronounced dead on July 15 2015 at the age of 22.
Her estate filed a wrongful death civil law suit against Gordon worth $50 million.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge T. Jackson Bedford had said in September that because Gordon failed to appear in court on two scheduled court dates, anything alleged by the plaintiff was admitted through omission.
The $36 million includes $15 million for present value of life, $13.8 million for pain and suffering and $1.37 million for assault and battery.
Bobbi Kristina was Houston's only child. The Icon died at the age of 48 2012
