Mariah Carey's ex-husband Nick Cannon has ruled out getting married again. The rapper/TV personality and the pop diva separated in 2014 after six years of marriage, with their divorce yet to be finalised. While Mariah is already engaged to marry Australian billionaire James Packer, Nick has ruled out ever walking down the aisle again because he thinks making a relationship official ruins everything. When asked if he would tie the knot again, the 35-year-old said "never" to reporters at the Harper's Bazaar event for Icons by Carine Roitfield and explained, "That messes everything up. That takes the fairy tale out of it. Cinderella didn't get married, she just lived happily ever after."
He had previously told DuJour magazine he highly doubted he would get hitched again, adding, "There's like a 50/50 chance of a marriage working. If it didn't work out for you the first time, and you still survived it, you probably shouldn't do it again." Mariah, who has five-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with Nick, got engaged to Packer in January (16) after a six-month romance, and Nick is rumoured to be moving on with Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas from group TLC after they appeared in a music video together. He has been pictured enjoying dinner with 45-year-old Chilli and her mother but Nick previously said he wasn't ready to put a label on it. "The chemistry is undeniable," he added to People at the event. "I'm telling you, it's real. I'm having fun she's having fun... That's what life is about, when you can be in that vibe and embrace one another with no titles. And that's where it gets too complicated."Chilli, who has a son with producer Dallas Austin, previously dated R&B singer Usher in the early 2000s.
