Earlier this year Josepvinaixa blogged about Nelly Furtado's possible sixth studio album release. The release date of the album still remains uncertain. Quoting Nelly Furtado from an earlier interveiw she did with the German newspaper WAZ, Nelly had the following to say,
"I'm working on an album and actually I am very pleased. I worked on this album for quite a while [and] will probably still continue to work this year on it. Finishing it will then hopefully happen next year, or perhaps only in 2016."
Well 2016 is here and we have yet to hear about the release date. Remembering and still being able to dance to, and enjoy hits such as 'Promiscuous', Maneater', 'I'm like a bird' and even 'Broken Strings' she did with James Morrison, we know that whenever the album drops we can expect great things.
In the mean time, Furtado has released a studio recorded version of the acoustic cover she did of the Calvin Harris hit 'Feel So Close'. The song can be found on Spotify, a streaming service the singer supports because she believes that the service is 'artist friendly' and that it "compensates musicians well for their art."
The first time she preformed the cover, she did it live. You can enjoy it here:
