Mzansi’s Trevor Noah has ended the year on a high, appearing as GQ’s cover man for their December/January 2021 issue.
He sat down to have a socially distanced chat with Wesley Lowery, the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, it’s an in-depth conversation that unpacks everything the comedian has been going through over the last couple of months. A version of this interview appears in the December/January 2021 issue of GQ under the title "The Anchor."
36-year-year-old Noah told the publication that this year has been "one of the most liberating years mentally and emotionally. It freed me from a lot of the paradigms and anchors that I had created for myself."
Noah shares this year's issue with George Clooney, who was named 2020 Icon of the Year, and Megan Thee Stallion who was named Rapper of the Year.
He took to Instagram to share the good news saying,” he worst thing about being on the cover of GQ is they can make you look so good people in real life are like... “Damn Trev, what happened?” The best part is... SHARING THIS HONOUR WITH GEORGE CLOONEY & MEGAN THE STALLION! Thank you @GQMagazine @ShaniqwaJarvis @mobolajidawodu
