Season 2 of My Kitchen Rules has come to a close and the winners are the country sisters Rox and Spoen.
The two who hail from Winterton in KwaZulu-Natal contended with Kim and Pashi in the final round.
Each team created 5 gourmet-course meals.
Judging and scoring each dish were the show’s resident judges David Higgs and J’Something, chef Reza Mahammad of The Food Network, editor of Fresh Living Justine Drake, Zola Nene, chef and food stylist and South African filmmaker, chef and television personality Justin Bonello.
Rox and Spoen based their five-course spread on farm life and vegetables.
Although both teams placed in great effort it was the meals of Rox and Spoen that were better received.
The sisters said they plan on buying their domestic helper, who they describe as one of their best friends, a mode of transport.
They also plan on investing their winnings into their own restaurant.
